André was proud to have worked on the Augwil Golf 9 hole expansion project and see it through to its completion.

André got involved with Jean in the planning stage and was particularly influential in the design of the greens. He also got involved in the shaping face of the project which is always the most exciting.

André has been a member of the Golfcourse Commission since 2007. The golfcourse project is part of the fantastic plans which aim to turn Andermatt in Switzerland into THE Swiss Alpine Destination.

The golfcourse will be unique. In his capacity as a PLaying Pro Consultant André has been accompanying the creation of the project, which willl be realised by Golfcourse architect Kurt Rossknecht until 2012, together with the fellow members of the Commission.

Golf is an up and coming activity and sport in Vietnam and we are very excited about being involved in this project. The 18-hole golfproject in Meilen, Switzerland, benefits from a preferential, unique location on the hills above the lake of Zurich and within the urban peripheric area of the city of Zurich.

The planned 18 hole golfcourse will respond to all needs of a championship track on a national level with its surface of 83 ha, spanning over a total length of 6’270m (men) and a Par of SSS 72.

The existing topography was respected in such a way that it shapes most fairways in a very natural manner and the project only foresees a minimum of earth moving.

The emphasis was put on a a diverse sequencing of the holes. The greens are placed in prominent locations with often breath taking views of the lake of Zurich and the chain of Alps in the background, so that playing this course becomes an always unforgettable experience.
